Dark Side of Kirkwall Tour Orkney Time Travel By popular demand, The Dark Side of Kirkwall is back! Ghost walk with Georgian supper, in collaboration with Immersive Orkney. Take yourself back to the year 1798 with our Georgian hostess, merchant's wife Mrs Borwick. Explore the atmospheric streets and lanes of Kirkwall, visiting some iconic locations, and be regaled with chilling stories of Orcadian ghosts and witches. Mrs Borwick then invites you into her Georgian home in the heart of town for a 3-course authentic homemade supper, before withdrawing to the candlelit drawing room for more ghostly stories and a glass of warming spiced fruit punch. Orkney Viking Yule Feast 30 December with Orkney Time Travel now open for booking

Yule Feast

Celebrate midwinter in style with a Viking Yule Feast! Monday 30th December 18:00-21:00 We are transforming the atmospheric Quoyloo Old School into a Norse hall (that's right, we are not on the beach this time). There will be a Viking meal served on wooden plates and drinking horns, as we celebrate Jol (Yule) like the Vikings did. The evening's entertainment will be storytelling and music, with stories from Norse mythology and legends which were passed on here in Orkney in unbroken tradition from our Norse ancestors until they were written down in the 19th century. Musicians Kate Fletcher and Corwen Broch, who specialise in ancient music traditions, are also joining us to play.
